A team of observers inspects polling stations

A team of observers including former Chief Justice and local election 2079 observer Sushila Karki has inspected the polling station.

An observation team including former Chief Justice Karki and former Commissioner Ila Sharma inspected the polling station at Bishwa Niketan in Tripureshwor.

After the on-site inspection of the polling booths, former Chief Justice Karki said that the security arrangements at the polling booths have been tightened and organized. According to her, separate arrangements have been made for men and women in the polling booths. However, the polling station has been made well-organized by arranging a line at the polling station so that it would rain.

Observer Karki said, "Everything is fine. There are separate voting arrangements for men and women. All arrangements have been made for today. I am confident that by continuing this, we will be able to hold elections tomorrow with confidence, without fear. '

Local level elections are being held tomorrow (Friday) all over the country simultaneously. For the local level election, the Election Commission is distributing voter education and voter identity cards from the polling stations on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Election Commission has stated that all preparations will be made for the local level election till today and arrangements will be made for voting in a fearless environment.

The commission has said that mobile phones, cameras and photographic materials, flammable acid items like matches, lighters, any kind of weapons, sample ballot papers, election symbols of any political party or candidate should not be taken inside the polling station.

Similarly, the commission has made arrangements for the voters included in the voter list to cast their vote on the basis of voter identity card, citizenship, national identity card, passport and land ownership certificate.
