Former Primeminister and Chairman of Maoist Centre, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, who flew to Japan last Friday night, arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon.
After his arrival from Japan on Wednesday afternoon, Prachanda at Tribhuwan International airport responded to a journalist’s query about the Citizenship Bill. He said that the president should not stop validating the Citizenship Bill.
Moreover, he said that President Bidya Devi Bhandari should not have delayed in authenticating the Citizenship Bill endorsed by the Federal Parliament. " I am hopeful that President will not block the Bill," Prachanda said.
“I said it in an interaction with journalists yesterday in Japan as well. There should have been no delay in certifying the bill from the President,” he said.
Similarly, talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport, he also said that his visit would help to strengthen the relationship between Nepal and Japan.
