AIG KC of Armed Police Force promoted to IGP

The government has decided to promote AIG Pushparam KC to the post of Inspector General (IGP) of the Armed Police Force Nepal.

A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday morning decided to promote KC, who is number one in the list, to IGP, a minister told Pardafas. He informed that the government spokesperson Gyanendra Karki is preparing to make the official announcement in a short time.

Another AIG, Ram Sharan Poudel, was behind KC. After Shailendra Khanal, IGP of the Armed Police Force, retired on Monday, KC was given the responsibility of executive.

KC's term will be till May 2. After that, he will retire due to 30 years of service.
