Nepali movie Ainaa Jhyaal Ko Putali will be Nepal's official entry in the 2023 Academy Awards popularly known as the Oscars.
The meeting of the International Feature Film Selection Committee has recommended 'Aina Jhyalko Putali' out of the 3 films received by the committee.
Three films - Ainaa Jhyaal Ko Putali, Radha, and Prakash - had applied to the committee for selection.
Issuing a statement, the committee said it selected Aaina Jhyaal Ko Putali based on the technical, presentation of dialect, and emotional analysis of characters among other factors.
