Butwal police arrested around 150 people at once on fraud charge

Butwal police have arrested around 150 people at once on fraud charges.

Seven of these people have been identified as operators of call centers used to facilitate fraudulent activities.

According to the police, They had rented three flats at local Janakinagar to trap gullible people into paying money for lottery and other scams.

The police arrested operators and staff of the call centres on the charge, DSP Thag Bahadur KC, the chief of the Area Police Office said.

Further investigation is going on.
