The permission granted to operate the resort within the Lumbini Development Fund has been revoked.
The council meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Jeevan Ram Shrestha, who is also the chairman of the Lumbini Development Fund Council, decided to revoke the permission.
The decision which was made in last Baisakh 19 to allow a private company called 'Sansara Wellness' to operate a resort on the land of the campaign ground against the master plan of the Lumbini area, has been canceled.
The council meeting also decided to operate electric buses for tourist facilities in Lumbini.
It is said that the meeting decided to operate the electric bus service within a month.
It is expected that the operation of electric buses will make it easier for tourists visiting the tourist heritage of this area.
