Chinese leader Li holds talks with Speaker Sapkota

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China, Li Zhanshu, has held bilateral talks with Speaker of Nepal Parliament Agni Prasad Sapkota at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, on Monday.

The two leaders exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral ties in the Tilicho Hall of Parliament building.

Speaker Sapkota is also hosting a banquet in honor of Li and the members of his delegation this evening.   

Leader Li landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday(today) afternoon from a special Chinese aircraft leading a delegation of 96 members.

He landed at about 3 pm at Tribhuvan International Airport.
