The Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress, Li Zhanshu, visited Bhaktapur Durbar Square on Wednesday Morning.
He was welcomed at Bhaktapur Durbar Square by Bhaktapur Municipality’s Mayor Sunil Prajapati and other high-level officials along with a cultural dance.
On the occasion, Li and his delegation members viewed the historic Bhairab Pyakha dance organized in his honor at Durbar Square by the local government.
"The dance has reminded me of Chinese culture. The culture between China and Nepal is similar," said Li after the show.
The Municipality officials informed Chairman Li about the progress made in the reconstruction works of the damaged heritages.
