Discussion between Nepal and Kuwait about labor issues

Durga Prasad Bhandari, Ambassador of Nepal to Kuwait and Acting Director General of Kuwait Government, Public Authority of Manpower Dr. Mubarak Al-Azmi held a discussion on Nepali-Kuwait bilateral relations and Nepali migrant workers at the Public Authority of Manpower.

In the meeting, the impact of the covid-19 epidemic on the job market of Kuwait, the current situation of Nepalese workers after the covid-19 epidemic, the issuance and renewal of workers' entry permits, housing, and salary facilities, and job security were discussed.

 Furthermore, the development and expansion of air services between Nepal and Kuwait, positive impact on the movement of workers, expansion of opportunities for Nepalis in new areas of employment, and other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
