Ambassador of Pakistan inaugurated computer Lab in Kathmandu for Nepalese Students

Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Syed Haider Shah and Mr. Haribhakta Pudasaini, Ward ChairmanKageshwori Manohara Municipality Ward 8, jointly inaugurated the Computer Laboratory at ShramsheelVidyapith School, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality Ward-8, Kathmandu.

The Laboratory has been renovated and upgraded with assistance from the Embassy of Pakistan on the eve of the 75th year of Pakistan’s Independence.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Haribhakta Pudasaini lauded the efforts of Government of Pakistan for the education sector of Nepal. Mr. Kamal Prasad Dahal, President of the School appreciated the embassy of Pakistan for its assistance and highlighted that the new and upgraded Computer Laboratory would be a valuable learning tool for the students.

He said the upgraded Computer Laboratory reflects Pakistan’s friendship and warmth for the Nepalese students. H.E. Ambassador Syed Haider Shah highlighted the role of Pakistan Embassy in extending all possible assistance to Nepal for its socio-economic development in different fields, including education, health, culture, etc.

He underlined the hope that computer literacy was indispensable for bridging the digital divide. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to work closely with Nepal for the provision of high-quality educational facilities to Nepalese students at an affordable cost.
