CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has announced the existing ruling alliance will continue till the upcoming elections.
He also hinted at the possibility of an electoral sub-alliance with the alliance.
Dahal ruled out the possibility of electoral collaboration with the CPN (UML) as he said the party did not admit its mistakes and weaknesses and do self-criticism. "The possibility of an alliance with the party is already a closed chapter."
As he said during the party's Standing Committee meeting in party central office, Parisdanda today, the party does not think about seeking an alternative to the existing alliance, it should be further consolidated, instead.
The country's latest political scenario and party's organizational position and situation were on the agenda of the discussions in the meeting.
In the meeting, Chairman Dahal said the further strengthening of the alliance formed with the objective of protecting the Constitution and promoting peace was the need of the hour.
