Former King's message: The people were not satisfied with the change

Former King Gyanendra Shah has termed the recent political change as meaningless and said that the people are not calm and satisfied with the process of transformation or change.

In a congratulatory message issued in the name of the people on the occasion of New Year 2079 BS, the former King Shah expressed concern over the failure of the government to adopt the right policy towards the neighboring countries.

He did not name India, China or the United States.

Former King Shah has said that all communities should live together, there should be no division and discrimination and they should be vigilant towards their neighbors. "We must always be vigilant, noting that our policies and practices will not only affect our progress, but also our country's stability, peace and national identity."

However, he said that now there is a perception among the people that Nepal is moving towards the path of malice towards someone by sticking with someone and it has become a matter of selflessness in itself.

Former King Shah has also expressed concern that economists and entrepreneurs are worrying that the economy is becoming complicated due to wrong monetary and weak fiscal policies and that it is becoming difficult for the people to make ends meet due to rising prices.
