General of US Army Indo Pacific Command arrives in Nepal

General Charles A. Flynn, Commander of the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) of the United States of America, has arrived in Kathmandu on an official visit thursday.

He was welcomed by Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) Lt Gen Bal Krishna Karki at the TIA.

Arriving in Nepal at the invitation of the Nepali Army, he will start meeting and visiting from tomorrow.

He is scheduled to hold high-level meetings while in Nepal. He will hold talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday.

He will visit the Army Headquarters, Jaggi Adda, Birendra Peace Training Center and the Command and Staff College of the Nepali Army. 
He is also scheduled to take a mountain flight for mountain observation.
