India accuse Chinese PLA for abduction of its citizen

A day after news emerged that the China’s People's Liberation Army (PLA), an armed wing of the only ruling party Chinese Communist Party, had abducted 17-year-old Indian national Sh Miram Taron from Arunachal state, the Indian Army on Thursday contacted China to search for the young man and return him in accordance with ‘established protocol’.

"After receiving information about the disappearance of a young man named Sh Miram Taron, who was hunter and collector of medicinal herbs from Arunachal Pradesh, the Indian Army immediately contacted the PLA through a hotline facility," Indian media have mentioned quoting the source at Ministry of Defense in India. The news reports also mentioned that he might have lost his way in the jungle when the PLA abducted him as per reports.

 

 

It is said that PLA abducted Taron from Indian territory in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, state Member of Parliament Tapir Gao said on Wednesday. Gao claimed that the teenager was abducted by Chinese PLA from the Lungta Jor area of Siungla district on Tuesday.

Yesterday, January 18, 2022, 3-4 kilometers of road was constructed inside India in Lungta Jor area 9 2018 under Siungla area (Bishing village) of Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. His comrades fled the PLA and reported to authorities. All Indian government agencies are requested to take immediate steps for his release, Gao tweeted.

“Chinese PLA has abducted Sh Miram Taron, 17 years of Zido village yesterday 18 th January 2022 from inside Indian territory, Lungta Jor area.” The law maker said in this twitter account posting the picture of the young man. He further said that China had built 3 to 4 kilometer road inside India at the Lungta Jor area in 2018 at the Arunanchal Province. 

He further said that his (Taron) friend escaped from PLA and reported to the authorities “All the agencies of Government of India is requested to step up for his early release,” reads the twitter by Gao. Both young men are local hunters from Jido village.
