Israel, which is an attractive labor destination for Nepalis, has said it is positive to create more employment opportunities for Nepali workers.
The process of taking Nepalese workers to Israel has resumed after a long time. 10 years ago, Nepalese used to go to Israel for foreign employment, especially as caregivers, and was considered a good destination.
Nepalese used to go to Israel for foreign employment through the private sector. After that process was stopped, a pilot project was started to bring Nepalese workers to Israel from the government level (G to G). After the completion of the project, Nepalese had not been able to go to Israel for a few years.
After a long time, Israel has resumed providing visas this year.
Few days ago an Orientation program was held for 70 Auxiliary Workers who will be leaving for Israel soon. Officials from the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and the Department of Foreign Employment were present during the program.
Recently, A Isreal Embassy wrote, " We are happy to inform that the 1st batch of 100 passports for Auxiliary Workers have been sent to DoFE".
