Israel to take additional 1,000 Nepali workers

Israel has agreed to take an additional 1,000 Nepali workers besides the previously agreed number.

Israel, which previously took more than 1,000 Nepali workers to Care Giver, is going to take 1,000 more people for agricultural work.

Today, there was a meeting between the Labour and Employment Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, and the Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Hanan Goder Goldberger.

Ambassador of Israel Hanan Goder informed about this after holding a meeting with Minister Kunwar.

Besides, 1,147 Nepali workers have been selected to work in Israel according to an agreement between the two countries.

In another context, Minister Kunwar asked Israel to invest in a reintegration program designed for returning migrant workers.

Other issues of bilateral concerns were discussed during the meeting.

Minister Kunwar expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Israeli government to Nepal.
