After the CPN Maoist Center Standing Committee meeting approved Sharma’s name, Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will submit it to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today.

Finance Minister Sharma resigned after being embroiled in the tax rate revision case.
Following that, a special parliamentary committee was formed to investigate him.
The committee conducted an investigation and determined that Sharma was not guilty.
