Six countries, including the United States and India, have jointly launched naval exercises.around Guam in the western Pacific ocean.
Naval forces from India, US, Australia, Japan, Canada and South Korea are participating in the exercise. The US Navy's 7 th fleet said the exercise, dubbed "Sea Dragon 22", would focus on anti-submarine warfare training and exercises, BBC Hindi reported.
The joint exercise between the six countries started on Wednesday. Two US Navy P-8A aircraft, the Golden Sodersman and The Tridents, and other countries' naval self-defense forces are participating in the exercise on behalf of the United States.
Earlier, naval personnel from India, US, Japan and Australia had also conducted naval war games in Malabar. There is also a quad organization consisting of these four countries. China has from time to time expressed dissatisfaction with the organization. These joint naval trainings are said to have stood up against China's growing power.
