Missing Tara Air's plane crashed in Sanosware, Thasang-2, Mustang

Tara Air's 9 NAET Twin Otter plane that had been missing since Sunday has been found in Sanoswar, Thasang-2, Mustang. 

The plane was found at the mouth of Langkukhola in Mustang.

According to Army Spokesperson Narayan Silwal, a group of Sherpas informed the search and rescue team of the Joint Security Forces about the physical condition of the plane. According to him, a team of security forces has reached the accident site.

"Contact has not been made, the plane has been physically located," said Silwal to Pardafas. '

 

The Search and Rescue Coordinating Center of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said in a statement on Sunday that the plane, which was flying for Jomsom with 19 passengers and three crew members, last came in contact with Jomsom Tower at 10: 7 am at Ghodepani.

There are 13 Nepalis, 2 Germans and 4 Indians in the plane. There is a 3 member crew.

The plane was flown by Captain Prabhakar Ghimire. He was accompanied by Utsav Pokharel and Kiskri Thapa in the crew. Another captain, Basant Lama, is also on board.

Among the passengers were Bandekar Vaibhavi, Indra Bahadur Gole, Purushottam Gole, Rajan Kumar Gole, Meike Grit Graf, Ganesh Narayan Shrestha, Rabina Shrestha, Rashmi Shrestha and Rojina Shrestha.

Similarly, Prakash Sunuwar, Makar Bahadur Tamang, Ram Maya Tamang, Sukumaya Tamang, Tulsadevi Tamang, Ashok Kumar Tripathi, Dhanush Tripathi, Ritika Tripathi and Uwe Willner are also on board.
