The National Assembly has passed the Citizenship Bill.
The Citizenship Bill sent back by President Bidya Devi Bhandari for reconsideration has been passed as it is even by the National Assembly.
The House of Representatives (HoR) on August 18 passed the bill for the second time after the President send it back to the parliament for reconsideration.
The bill was presented at the meeting of the NA today after it was endorsed by the HoR.
A meeting of the NA held this evening passed the bill with a majority.
