The meeting of the National Assembly scheduled for 1 pm today has been postponed till Wednesday due to special reasons.
Secretary of the upper house of the Federal Parliament, Rajendra Phuyal said that the National Assembly will now meet at 11 am on September 14, Wednesday.
Finance Minister Janardan Sharma was scheduled to present a proposal to consider the Insurance Bill, 2075, Public Debt Management Bill, 2076 received with a message from the House of Representatives.
Similarly, Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav was scheduled to present a proposal that the Animal Services Council Bill, 2076, received from the House of Representatives with a message, should be sent to the Legislation and Management Committee for quarterly discussion.
Home Minister Balkrishna Khand was scheduled to table a proposal to discuss the Prison Bill, 2076 along with the report of the Legislation Management Committee received from the House of Representatives.
Secretary Phuyal said the National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina fixed the new date and time for the Assembly meeting.
