NC leader Nidhi continuously meeting Indian Politicians

Former Deputy Prime Minister, Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi is in India these days.

He is continuously meeting Indian politicians there.

Today, he mets with the former parliamentarian of BJP, Bijay Sonkar Shastri at the Nepalese Embassy in India.

Likewise, he also met with an Indian senior leader of the BJP, the Minister of Road Transport & Highways of India, Nitin Gadkari.

In the meeting, Congress leader Nidhi requested to build the Ayodhya-Vitthavod four-lane road, which has been started by the Indian government, through Girijasthan (Phulhar) in the Madhubani district of India to the Jatahi border of Nepal.

After Nidhi's request, Minister Gadkari immediately telephoned the officials of the Ministry and the Road Department and instructed them to put the construction of more roads up to the Jatahi border in the Ministry's program.

The Jatahi-Janakpur-Dhalkewar 6-lane road was completed when Bimalendra Nidhi was the Minister of Physical Infrastructure of Nepal.

Likewise, Nidhi has also requested Minister Gadkari to build an alternative international trade route from Calcutta port to the Jatahi border of Nepal via Darbhanga.

Similarly, on Wednesday, he met with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) foreign department chief Vijay Chauthaiwale.

At the meeting there they discussed issues such as how to further strengthen the relationship between Nepal and India and on making more smooth relations between the Nepali Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party in the future.
