Nepali Congress leader and lawmaker Pradip Giri, who had been undergoing treatment for cancer at Mediciti Hospital, Lalitpur, passed away on Saturday night.
Giri, a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha-1 constituency, was receiving treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital after contracting pneumonia following his treatment for throat cancer in Mumbai, India.
Giri was the socialist thinker and House of Representatives (HoR) member of the Nepali Congress from the Siraha district. He was 75-year-old.
