Nepal reports 444 new COVID cases, 3 deaths

A total of 444 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 4954 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Similarly, 307 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases in a country is 4,199.

4,026 COVID-19 patients are in home isolation and 173 are in institutional isolation facilities while 50 others are receiving treatment in ICU. 2 COVID-19 patients are being treated with ventilator support.

3 coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has reached 11,998. The latest data on death due to COVID-19 is the highest one in the recent past.
