A total of 553 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
Currently, there are 5,659 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation of which, 152 are admitted to institutional isolation while 5,507 patients are placed in home isolation. Out of which 45 are in ICU and 3 are on ventilator support.
During the same period, 433 COVID-19 patients recovered from the infection.
No death due to the coronavirus was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country remains constant at 11,971 to date.
