A total of 781 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours as of Friday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 4,712 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Currently, there are 5,775 active cases in the country.
Similarly, 511 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
2 more coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has reached 11,984.
