A total of 852 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 6883 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Currently, there are 5,462 active cases in the country.
Similarly, 328 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has reached 11,990.
