Nepal's Foreign Secretary Paudyal paying official visit to India

Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal will pay an official visit to India on 13-14 September 2022 at the cordial invitation of the Foreign Secretary of India Vinay Mohan Kwatra.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Friday announcing the visit of the Foreign Secretary.

This is Paudyal's first official visit after becoming Foreign Secretary.

Earlier, he went to India as a member of a delegation led by the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister.

During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart where the two sides will discuss different areas of cooperation between Nepal and India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Similarly, According to the statement released by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, the meeting will discuss the implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Nepal and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's visit to India.

The Foreign Secretary will return to Kathmandu on 15 September 2022.
