The student wing of the ruling Nepal Congress,Nepal Student Union (NSU) cadres on Sunday burnt the effigy of President Bidya Devi Bhandari for delaying in authenticating the Citizenship Bill.
They chanted slogans against President and also burnt the effigy of President Bhandari. The students also pelted stones at the police personnel when the latter tried to disperse the mob.
They have demanded that the President certify the Bill at the earliest.
