Members of Imran Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have announced their resignation from the lower house of Pakistan's National Assembly. He also mentioned that he would boycott the upcoming Prime Ministerial election in the National Assembly.
Outgoing Prime Minister Imran Khan told a parliamentary party meeting, "We can never sit in the assembly with them."
Meanwhile, PTI leader in the National Assembly and outgoing Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry told reporters that "we will resign and fight for independence."
Imran Khan has accused Pakistan of forming a new government with the help of foreign powers.
