PM  Deuba to pay official visit to India on April 1

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is all set to pay an official visit to India from April 1 to April 3 at the formal invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This will be Prime Minister Deuba's first official state visit since his appointment on 13 July, 2021. However, the government has not yet made any formal decision at this.

Multiple high-level sources told epardafas that all necessary preparations have been completed for the official visit of PM Deuba to India. According to sources, PM Deuba will leave for India with a core small team from his secretariat.

PM Deuba's visit to India will take place immediately after the completion of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to Nepal. PM’s India visit within in a few days after the return of the Chinese FM from Nepal has  been looked as an important diplomatic point of view of the government.

According to sources, Deuba's visit to India will include high-level meetings and agree on a number of issues of long-term importance and mutual benefit. Similarly, the PM Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will jointly inaugurate the Jayanagar-Janakpur railway service during the visit, it has been said.

Deuba is scheduled to visit India even before the implementation of the election code of conduct. According to a source, Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka will give the official information about this through a press conference in the nest week.
