Nine policemen face action for posting child pornographic videos on Facebook

Nine policemen have been punished for sharing child pornographic videos in a group on social network Facebook. They  have been  charged with sharing such video on social media.

Police spokesperson SSP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar confirmed that nine policemen have been charged in the case. According to him, there are police personnel from constables to soldiers who share pornographic videos on social media.

"We have taken departmental action against nine people on the charge," he said. The first complaint was lodged at Facebook's central office. After that, the police was informed.

An investigation by the police cyber bureau found that the police had formed a group on Facebook and shared it. They have been found to be on duty in various police offices. 

The police headquarters has sent the details to the headquarters of the Armed Police Force after it was revealed that a constable of the Armed Police Force was also involved in making the video.
