Prabhupay affiliates with Fonepay network

Fonepay Payment Services Limited has grown even largers as Prabhupay, operated by Prabhu Technology, joined it today.

Payment System Operator Fonepay Payment Services Limited and Prabhu Technology signed a memorandum of understanding. With this, Prabhupay has joined the Fonepay network.

The agreement was signed by Divas Sapkota, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Fonepay and Biki Shahi, Chief Executive Officer of Prabhupay on Wednesday.

In addition, from now on, Prabhupay customers can easily make the digital money transaction through Fonepay QR reader. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Divas Sapkota, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Fonepay, said that the collaboration with Prabhupay would further help in building a cashless economy.

He hoped that other payment service providers would be added to Fonepay's network in the coming days.

Chief Executive Officer of Prabhupay, Biki Shahi, said that the collaboration with Fonepay was a golden opportunity for them. He further said that they will move forward together in the coming days to fulfill their vision of digitizing and making cashless.

It is said that there are more than 570,000 merchants in Fonepay at present. According to Fonepay, they are more than 15 million mobile banking users of banks and financial institutions and payment service providers have been transacting through Fonepay.

Similarly, Prabhupay has more than 700,000 customers. Many services including mobile and TV recharge, air ticket, movie ticket are being digitally paid through Prabhupay.
