President Bhandari in Pokhara

President Bidya Devi Bhandari went to Pokhara today.

She went on a Buddha Air flight and is scheduled to attend different programs scheduled for Tuesday.

Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung, Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel, and high-ranking government officers welcomed President Bhandari at the VVIP Longue of Pokhara Airport.

The President is staying at Hotel Pokhara Grande located at Birauta of Pokhara.

The President is scheduled to visit the Bindyabasini Temple at 8:30 am on Tuesday and participate in the diamond jubilee celebrations of Bindyabasini Secondary School, Batulechour, said Chief District Officer of Kaski, Jay Narayan Acharya.

Similarly, President Bhandari will participate in the Trahote festival at Tamu Dhi at 1:00 pm on Tuesday and return to Kathmandu on the same day.

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in Pokhara targeting the President's visit. (RSS)
