President Bidya Devi Bhandari has paid heartfelt tributes to Nepali Congress leader and socialist thinker Pradeep Giri while expressing sadness over the news of his death.
In a tweet this morning, the President said, “We have lost an intellectual personality with the death of Giri”.
President Bhandari expressed her sympathy to the bereaved family.
समाजवादी चिन्तक एवं नेपाली कांग्रेसका नेता प्रदिप गिरिको निधनको खबरले अत्यन्त दुखी बनाएको छ। उहाँको निधनबाट हामीले एक सिद्धान्तनिष्ठ बौद्धिक व्यक्तित्व गुमाएका छौं। म दिवंगत प्रदिप गिरिप्रति भावपूर्ण श्रद्धाञ्जली व्यक्त गर्दछु । साथै, शोकाकुल परिवारमा गहिरो समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछु।
