Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is on a three-day official visit to India, has reached Banaras, the holy shrine of Hindus. He was received and Welcomed at the Banaras Airport by Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
On the last day of his three-day visit to India, he is scheduled to visit a religious site in Banaras, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prime Minister Deuba will pay obeisance at the Samrajeshwar Pashupatinath Mahadev and Kalbhairav temples and the foundation stone of the old age home to be constructed at Lalitaghat will be laid.
He will return to Delhi from Banaras at 4 pm today. He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu from Delhi at 4.15 pm today, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A 50-member Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Deuba arrived in Delhi on Friday for a three-day official visit.
