Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has returned home after completing a three-day official visit to India.
Prime Minister Deuba returned home on Sunday evening on a Nepal Airlines flight. He was welcomed at the airport by acting Prime Minister Bal Krishna Khan, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and other high-ranking government officials. On that occasion, the Nepal Army saluted him.
Last Friday, Prime Minister Deuba led a Nepali delegation to India. During the visit, he had discussions with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jayashankar and others on various issues of mutual interest.
During his visit to India, Prime Minister Deuba and his Indian counterpart Modi inaugurated the Janakupur-Jayanagar railway service virtually.
The visiting delegation, including Prime Minister Deuba, also visited Benaras on Sunday morning.
He was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. After that, Prime Minister Deuba paid obeisance at the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Benaras.
