Qatar embassy to construct Al-Hail Vocational Training and Cultural Center to support Nepali youths 

In a bid to provide professional vocational trainings to Nepali youths, Al-Hail Vocational Training and Cultural Center, a renowned institute in Qatar, will be built here in Kathmandu by the support of ambassador of Qatar to Nepal, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Hail.


The foundation laying ceremony of the Al-Hail centre located at Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s ward no. 4 at Tusal was concluded today by Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhankri.


The centre will be financed by Qatar Charity with support of Rs 40 million on the special initiative of Qatari Ambassador Al Hail. Nepal Director of Qatar Charity Irsad Ali Sheikh said social worker Suleman Gurung donated 23 aana of the land for the construction of the building. He clarified that after the completion of the construction of the building, various skill development trainings and capacity building trainings will be provided to the youth.


Laying the foundation stone of the building, Urban Development Minister Jhankri expressed confidence that the construction work would achieve success and speed. She also paid tribute to Gurung, a social worker who donated land. 


The building is targeted to be completed within a year.
