Rayamajhi nominated as NC parliamentary party leader in National Assembly

The Nepali Congress (NC) has nominated Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi as the leader of the parliamentary party for the National Assembly.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated Rayamajhi as the leader of the National Assembly Parliamentary Party.

The office of the NC Parliamentary Party issued a statement appointing Rayamajhi as per sub-section (1) of Article 12 of the Statute of the Parliamentary Party (with amendments and modifications, 2074).

Radheshyam Adhikari was the previous NC parliamentary party leader in the Upper House. The post was vacant after his term expired following drawing of the lottery.
