The ruling five-party alliance has formed an 11-member task force to distribute the seats for the upcoming election of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.
A leader of the coalition party informed that in a meeting of top leaders of the ruling alliance in Baluwatar on Friday has formed an 11-member working force to decide on seat-sharing among partners following the decision to forge an electoral alliance.
According to sources, The 11-member task force includes Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa, leaders Krishna Sitaula and Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Maoist Center leaders Barsha Man Pun and Dev Gurung, CPN Unified Socialist leaders Pramesh Hamal and Bedu Ram Bhusal, Janata Samajbadi Party’s Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav and Rakam Chemjong, and Rastriya Janamorcha’s Himal Puri and Anand Sharma, according to sources.
A leader of the coalition said that the meeting of the working force will be held soon. According to him, the modality of coordination will be finalized within the first week of Bhadra.
