SAFF Women's Championship begins tomorrow in Kathmandu

The 2022 SAFF Women’s Championship will start from tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu.

Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwor Jung Gahatraj will inaugurate the opening session of the SAFF Women's Championship.

Hosts Nepal takes on Bhutan in the opening match that begins at 5:30 pm.

The Women’s team head coach Kumar Thapa unveiled a 23-member squad for the tournament on Saturday which saw the return of forward Rekha Paudel after a protracted absence of three years since the 2019 SAFF tournament.

All the participating teams have arrived for the competition.
