The best goalkeeper of the SAFF Women's Championship 2022 tournament Rupana Chakma, who demonstrated her brilliance under the bar is now the pride of Bangladesh, especially for the Naniarchar of Rangamati District.
Her family and neighbors are eagerly waiting to receive her with love for their historic triumph in the tournament. Fans and journalists are thronging her home to congratulate the families.
Following her success, Rangamati Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Mizanur Rahman visited Rupana's house with sweets, fruits, and flowers.
Likewise, The DC handed over a check of Tk 1.50 lakh to her family as financial assistance and also assured her of the construction of a bridge and a house in Naniarchar.
Similarly, Ritu Porna Chakma, the defender of the SAFF Women's Championship 2022 is also the Pride of Bangladesh and she is also from the Naniarchar of Rangamati District.
Both of them are now becoming the pride of the Rangamati District. The DC also handed over a check of Tk 1.50 lakh to the family of Ritu Porna Chakma.
DC Mizanur said Rupna and Ritu Porna have made Bangladesh proud through their extraordinary skills in the SAFF tournament and specifically the final.
Bangladesh had defeated Nepal 3-1 in the final of the SAFF Women's Championship 2022 held in Kathmandu Nepal at Dasarath Stadium.
