Smoking prohibited in public areas in Kathmandu Metropolitan

The Office of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has issued a notification and informed that from Saturday, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, raw tobacco, or similar types should not be sold in public places.

According to the metropolis, action will be taken and a fine needs to be paid, to those who will disobey the notice.

Smoking is prohibited in public areas from September 17, according to the notice.
