Bangladesh entered SAFF Championship final after 6 years , defeated Bhutan by 8-0  in semifinal

Bangladesh has entered the finals of the SAFF Women's Championship.

Bangladesh entered the final after defeating Bhutan by 8-0  in the semifinal at Dasarath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal on Friday (September 16).

Taking a 4-0 lead in the first half of the match at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar, Bangladesh added 4 goals in the second half and gained a wide victory over Bhutan.

With this defeat, Bhutan has been eliminated from the championship.

Bangladesh entered the final for the first time since 2016. Hosts Nepal and India will meet in the second semi-final on Friday afternoon. The winner of that match will fight for the title against Bangladesh. The final of the Saf Women Championship will be held in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
