The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has continued its downward trend and declined by 27.92 points and reached 2010.01 on Sunday, starting this trading week with a double-digit loss.
The index that opened at 2,035.32 points made an intraday high of 2,043.03, an intraday low of 2,007.68, and ultimately closed at 2,010.01 points at the end of the trading day today.
Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, fell by 4.76 points to 387.90.
Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited gained the highest 8.10 percent in the market today as Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited lost the highest of 7.09 percent.
