The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 27.56 points to close at 2068.26 points on Thursday.
Similarly, the sensitive index fell 5.41 points to close at 400.8 points.
A total of 5,101,290 units of the shares of 220 companies were traded for Rs 2.05 billion.
The total market capitalization stood at Rs 2.96 trillion at the end of the day.
Likewise, all the sub-indices saw green in today’s market.
Meanwhile, Mandakini Hydro Power Limited (MHL) and Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company Limited (USHEC) were the top gainers today with their prices surging by 10 percent.
