The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 2.86 points to close at 2,057.84 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
Although there was a general improvement in NEPSE, there was not much excitement in the transaction amount.
Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 0. 60 points to close at 398. 29 points.
A total of 3,678,705 unit shares of 223 companies were traded for Rs 1. 52 billion.
Meanwhile, Mandakini Hydropower Limited was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 10 percent. Siddhartha Equity Fund was the top loser as its price fell by 3. 58 percent.
At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 94 trillion.
