Pakistan women football team is coming Nepal on Sunday (today) to to participate in the 2022 SAFF Women’s Championship that Nepal is hosting from September 6 to 19.
Pakistan will open their journey with their Group A game against India on September 7. This will be followed by their clash against Bangladesh on September 10 and Maldives on September 13.
Maria Khan will lead the team as the new Pakistan women's football team Captain. Adeel Rizki is the coach of the national team. This is the first time that he will be coaching any national team as a head coach.
Pakistan team also has a British Pakistani Nadia Khan in its squad. Nadia will travel to Nepal from Leeds to join the side.
The Championship will be started at Kathmandu with the match between Bhutan and Nepal on September 6.
The seven teams have been clubbed in two groups. India, Pakistan, Maldives and Bangladesh are in Group A while Group B consists of Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
