T-20 World Cup trophy being displayed in Nepal , Prime Minister viewing the trophy

The T20 Cricket World Cup trophy is in Nepal for the first time. It was brought to Nepal on Monday.

The journey to take the trophy to different cities of the world started 100 days before the start of the World Cup.

The tour of the World Cup trophy began on July 8 from Melbourne, Australia. The trophy is being exhibited in 35 places in 13 countries of the world.

The trophy, which arrived in Nepal on Monday as part of the world tour, was scheduled to be exhibited at Mount Everest base camp and Gokyo Lake on Tuesday, but the exhibition was stopped due to bad weather. 

According to CAN, the trophy will be taken to Everest and Gokyo soon.

The trophy was kept on display at Bhaktapur Durbar Square on Wednesday from 11:30 am. It was earlier delivered to Chandragiri on Tuesday.

As per the schedule to deliver the trophy to President and Prime Minister's office, the trophy reached to Prime minister's office in Baluwatar today.

Earlier, the trophy of the ODI Cricket World Cup was brought to Nepal in 2019.
