"Top of the World" Golf Challenge is going to be held at Lomanthang,Mustang

The 'Top of the World Golf Challenge is going to be held on the highest golf course in the world at Lomanthang. 

The tournament is going to be held on 27 August 2022.

A golf course in Lomanthang, Mustang is built at an altitude of 4,635 meters. Although a golf course is at the highest altitude in the world, it is yet to be recognized.

The 'Top of the World' golf challenge competition is going to be organized at Mustang Golf Course under the joint initiative of Lomanthang Youth Club and Lomanthang Rural Municipality.

It is estimated that 24 male and 4 female players from Kathmandu and Pokhara will participate in the tournament.

At present, The highest golf course in the world is in Sikkim, India. But when the tournament will be held in Lomanthang, the course of Nepal will make a new identity.

The organizer of Lomanthang Club said that the quality of the golf course will be identified from the tournament that is going to be held for the first time and modifications will be made as per the need.

The golf course is built on the initiative of Gandaki Province Assembly Member Indradhara Bista.
